Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run accounts, deliver purchased reports and answer email. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and no selling of data — the parcels you analyse are business data we treat as confidential to you.
Who is responsible
The data controller is One Telos Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13191707), registered office 81 Clayhall Avenue, Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom, trading as RealDevelop. Contact: team@realdevelop.io.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Waitlist and enquiry data — your email address and, where you provide them, the state, market or parcel you are interested in.
- Purchase records — which reports you bought, when, and for which parcel. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Usage necessary to operate the service — the parcels you analyse and the scenarios you save, so they are there when you return.
- Technical logs — IP address, user agent and request logs generated by our hosting infrastructure, used for security and debugging.
- Correspondence — emails you send us.
The site itself carries no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts.
Why we process it
- To perform our contract with you — running your account, generating and delivering reports you purchase, and providing support.
- Legitimate interests — securing the service, fixing defects, understanding which markets to cover next (waitlist interest), and telling waitlisted users when coverage they asked about goes live.
- Legal obligations — keeping purchase and tax records for as long as UK law requires.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, email routing and request logs.
- Neon — database hosting.
Each acts under contract as our processor. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires.
International transfers
We operate from the United Kingdom and serve customers in the United States; our processors store data in the UK, EU and US. Where personal data leaves the UK, the transfer relies on the safeguards UK data protection law recognises, including adequacy regulations and standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
How long we keep it
- Account data — while the account is active, then deleted on request or after prolonged inactivity.
- Purchase and tax records — six years, as UK law requires.
- Waitlist entries — until the coverage you asked about launches, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Technical logs — short rolling windows set by our hosting providers.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email team@realdevelop.io and we will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
